GMC Supports Operation Tuli: A Successful Partnership for Youth Health

In support of the LGU initiative, General Milling Corporation (GMC), in collaboration with the Lapu-Lapu City Health Office headed by Dr. Agnes C. Realiza successfully held an Operation Tuli last May 20, 2025, at Lapu-Lapu City, providing free and safe circumcision services to young members of the community.

This collaborative effort underscores GMC’s commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility and community health initiatives. By providing financial support, GMC helped ensure the smooth operation of the event, contributing to the well-being and hygiene of the youth in Lapu-Lapu City.

Mr. Edwin Y. Kho, GMC Finance Director, was visibly present during the event, demonstrating the company’s leadership commitment. He was accompanied by EHS personnel Mrs. Sarah Jane Sepe, GMC Head Nurse, and Mr. Francis Dave Doblas, PCO/Safety Officer, who actively supported the health team on site. Nurse IV, Mrs. Grace Mary Chan Carungay, Mr. Ferdinand Tepait, CHO’s division chief for environmental and sanitation and their dedicated team also played a crucial role in coordinating and facilitating the event, ensuring everything ran efficiently and safely.

OPERATION TULI, supported by GMC and the local health office, highlights how public-private cooperation can make meaningful impacts on public health and youth development.
